Casuarinaceae sp.
Common name: Casuarina, She-oak Many are native to Australia and are evergreen with weeping, needle-like branchlets. The flowers are hard to see but what follows are woody cones. They are used as windbreaks, shade, shelter and soil binders and can be found in many places under many different conditions but will do particularly well if grown in an open sunny position.
