Plantago lanceolata Common names: Lamb’s tongue, Ribwort, Ribgrass, Common plantain, white mans footprint, broad leafed plantain
Ribgrass is an erect, perennial herbaceous plant, flowering from September through to April. It grows throughout most temperate and tropical areas but is particularly fond of the higher rainfall areas of Australia. It can tolerate low fertility soils very well and can act as an annual or biennial when conditions are dry.
