Common name: Short Ragweed

Short ragweed is an erect herb (1-3m tall) with a shallow root, branched stems and divided, hairy leaves. It is an annual and its fruit forms on the female green flowers. Flowering lasts throughout summer until the first frost.

 

Distribution:

It grows in Queensland, NSW and in Western Australia.
