Common name: Yellow dock, curled dock 
 
This is a perennial weed with a deep, thick tap root.  The flowering stems are erect and grow up to at least 1 m. 
 
Distribution:
 
In all states and particularly the Darling and Western Downs, Moreton region, Qld and northern NSW, Atherton Tableland.
